The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) is running a live chat for the not-for-profit (NFP) sector on 22 July 2015 from 2 pm to 3 pm.
The one-hour live chat will be an online, non-audio, interactive text conversation between participants and the host, Rod Walker.
The ATO is seeking feedback on methods of communication with the NFP sector and possible future discussion topics, with examples provided such as endorsement questions, specific tax topics, how to set up a NFP organisation and impacts of law changes.
Participants must register via the ATO website / Not-for-profit communication – live chat, with places limited to 35 participants.
A transcript of the live chat will be made available by the ATO shortly after the event. The ATO will also open a discussion board for anyone to make comments and questions on the transcript and the live chat topic.
